Für dieses Bild habe ich mal wieder im Archiv gewühlt und bin im Jahr 2008 fündig geworden. Die Straßen in Downtown Manhattan sind eigentlich oft unspektakulär, aber die Details, wie die rustikalen Feuertreppen und die Wassertanks auf den Dächern geben den eher tristen Straßenszenen Charakter.
Heute habe ich mich mal an einem Bild aus dem Archiv versucht – eine Aufnahme der St. Patrick’s Cathedral, die ich vor einigen Jahren gemacht habe.
Pünktlich zum Jahreswechsel wieder ein Rückblick auf die vergangenen 12 Monate und zehn der in dieser Zeit entstandenen Bilder.
Wie man sieht, geht der Trend bei mir momentan in Richtung Schwarz Weiß, HDR und eine Mischung aus beidem… Mal sehen, was das nächste Jahr bringt.
Today was a very rainy day in Washington DC because we have been affected by hurican weather. One could hardly cross the street.
Thus we planned a visit of the Aircraft Museum and spent some time and money in Macy’s.
In the evening weather became better, so we had a chance to walk along the National Mall, enjoying the sunset.
Rundreise Ostküste – Etappe von New York City nach Cape Cod über New Haven, Yale University, New Port nach Cape Cod / Hyannis
Today, we had our day of the first road trip – from New York City to Cape Cod.
Heavy traffic when we left New York City northbound but this is just natural, I guess.
I should remember that it is really tough to drive into the City during rush hour (and I guess even if this is not the case it’s stressfull (at least for me)). But nevertheless, finally we found Manhattan, our hotel and a parking lot. Would be much easier without a navigation system.
